Germantown

I moved here in October of 2015. The vast majority of people here don't speak to me, even the neighbors, and everyone is just so unfriendly and mean. I also feel as if the people here act like I'm a joke and don't take me very seriously. There's lots of fake smiles and silent laughs. The town itself is of poor quality and there are lots of homeless people wandering around. In addition, they go out of their way to make you feel unwanted. Things like starting a car as you walk by, turning their backs a lot, laughing when they see you, cold shoulders, you know that kinda petty high school mess.

Also, It appears that a lot of people here let themselves go. I rarely see any fit people. I feel like they are insecure about themselves and so they try to bring others down. I can't go anywhere without someone acting a fool. They don't make eye contact, rarely say thank-you, and typically act as if they're doing you a favor. However, while they don't make eye-contact, they are very very nosey. In other words, people here just work and come home. They have no personal or social lives. I've realized the people around here exist to be negative and cause problems. They're not neutral. I now stay away from them and understand why I don't call any of them friends.

Therefore, they are all up in everyone else's business. I always catch people being nosey, especially when they think I can't see them. I absolutely hate going into town and I only moved here for school. I hope someone reads this and doesn't make the same mistake as me. My quality of life is a C right now because of the "community." Everything is so overcrowded!!
