Try Grassroots. They have the best muffins, cakes and cookies. Everything there has a real home made feel. It's also a great spot for lunch.website grassrootsme.com. 723 Glen Cove Ave, Glen Head NY 516-671-1616
If you are looking for pies NOTHING beats Young's Farm, the 3 berry pie is my favorite. And be sure to pick up some local corn and tomato's when your there. Hegemans Lane, Old Brookville NY 516-626-3055

Everyone has their favorite bakery and mine is Leonetti Pastry Shop on Glen Cove Road in Greenvale. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Leonetti-Pastry-Shop/109524905780764

They have fabulous bread, cookies, cakes, cannoli's and other Italian delicacies. They have a few small tables so you can relax and enjoy a cup of coffee with a treasured confection. And don't miss their Gelato!!!
