Golden Gate Heights, San Francisco is mostly a residential neighborhood so coming up with the Top Ten things to do requires a little bit of imagination. But here are my choices:
1. Take the kids for some play time at Golden Gate Heights Park. Also a great spot to check out the view all the way over the long stretch of the Sunset District to the Pacific.
2. Climb the colorfully decorated Moraga Steps to Grand View park--another great view to the Pacific.
3. Spy down on the Heights from the woodsy 15th Avenue Park steps that squezes between neighborhood homes.
4. Drop down to Inner Sunset for Persian food at Lavash.
5. Or for Ethiopian at New Eritrea
6. Or for Sushi at Kazu
7. Or for Indian at Masala Dosa
8. Or for coffee and sandwiches at the Wooly Pig.
9. Or head up to Golden Gate Park.
10. You could also, of course, just hang out and check out the amazing homes in the neighborhood.
How's that--only a little bit of cheating with the restaurants that are actually slightly north of the neighborhood in Inner Sunset.
