What are some good hiking trails / campsites in or around Gunnison?

That is a question that I can honestly say doesn't have one answer. I started college at Western State mostly because I love the outdoors and it had so much to offer. There are numerous places to hike and camp and when you find what you think is the best, the next weekend it feels as if you've found something better. It also doesn't hurt that Curecanti National Recreation Area is so close by. I know I'm not answering your question very well, but if you're looking for hiking and camping I can't imagine you'd be disappointed anywhere in this area.
