Are there any good bike paths in or near Haviland?

The good news is that throughout Hyde Park, including Haviland, there is a system of trails maintained by the town. The bad news is that they're foot-traffic only.

For biking, I'd suggest heading south into Poughkeepsie and catching the Dutchess County Rail Trail. It's relatively new and is probably the most identifiable bike trail on this side of the county as of now.
