"Lots to do here for kids and adults alike"
Within the borders of Hyland Hills Park and Recreation are two gems: Carmenisch Park Baseball Field and Water World. Carmenisch Park is a great place for kids and adults to take a walk along the trails, hang out by the ponds, or see a game of baseball. Water World is one of the best water parks in the world with over 28 rides and attractions. There are rides parents can enjoy with their kids and also a very fun water park for the toddler age. Just southeast of Water World is Bell Roth park which has a nice little lake where you can often see wildlife. One bonus of residents is that they can get season passes and discounts to Water World.
Along 84th there are numerous businesses and Pinnacle Charter School. The schools in this area all rate average on state testing standards and there is a good mix of white and hispanic students that attend here.
Traffic can be tricky on 84th at rush hour and Pecos Street can get busy but not as bad. 84th is also a great way to get to I-25 which is just east of the neighborhood.
