How much would a modest-sized home cost in Independence?

I live in Independence and would have to ask some additional question to get the real answer to that question. How many bedrooms & bathrooms do you want/need, how much property, country vs cul de sac, etc.?
Your price ranges would probably run between $140k to $200k depending on your specifics.

A modest but nice home in Independence will run you around $150k. Not too bad considering many of these places are fairly nice.
