It was in past decades. Rather boring in the introverted, parents always worrying and overprotecting, world of the 21st Century. Touch football, with first down every driveway entrance. GoKart, usually unmotorized, down the hills from Merced Heights or simply from the top of a driveway, down Borica to the Ingleside Sundial at Entrada Court. Kids throwing newspapers, setting up lemonade stands (props to Ice-T), and roving manual push mower crews with kids making a few bucks helping neighbors (and vice versa). Now not enough kids because people are buying houses as investments instead of family homes. Hopefully, that will change because no neighborhood has more ability to enhance "neighbor" than the Ingleside Terraces (that's TERRACES, with an "S." Why can't realtors get that right? - look at any of the entry gateways).
