Living in the Inner Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco is kind of cool because you are close enough to the rest of San Francisco that you can be in North Beach or Castro in no time at all, but you are just far enough away where you can find some real deals on rent. So if you are a bit of a bum, like me, and don't really want to work all the time to make ends meet, you can make things work here and still have a pretty good time.
