Would you recommend the Lake neighborhood in San Francisco for families with kids?

Absolutely! This is probably one of the most family friendly neighborhoods in the city! It is one of the best trick-o-treating routes in San Francisco. Kids feel comfortable walking to friends homes here. There are lots and lots of kids. This neighborhood feeds into some of the best San Francisco public schools but there seems to be a ton of private school kids who live here, as well.
