What's the best rec center in Lakewood?

The Whitlock Center off of Dover and Colfax is a great facility. I play in a Thursday night basketball league there and have always been impressed by the staff and the amenities offered. There is great workout equipment and plenty for the kiddos to do as well.

I work out at Carmody Rec Center on Old Kipling, just south of Jewell. It's really nice, especially for a city rec center. The weight room is enormous, it has indoor and outdoor pools, a big basketball court with a track, several rooms for classes. A lot more than you'd expect. I had a buyer move here from the east coast, and she said that Carmody is much nicer than the expensive gyms she belonged to back home.
