"Growing community that retains a small town feel"
I moved to Lancaster six years ago. My neighborhood is located on the north side. It is quiet, the homes are well maintained, and my neighbors are honest, hard-working people who have lived in the community for many years. Lancaster is located approximately 15-20 minutes south of downtown Dallas. The city preserves a close-knit feel with the charm of a small Texas town even though the population has grown significantly over the last decade.
Pros
- Strong sense of community
- Close to Dallas and big-city amenities
- Good quality of life
Cons
- More retail businesses needed

"Location of the Dallas Convention Center"
The Dallas Convention Center, located of Griffin Street, is a place everyone needs to go. It is SO HUGE! It is such a beautiful place and they have some of the most wonderful concerts and shows there. My favorite is when they host the car shows. The road is in pretty good shape and could use a little work like most roads but overall is not bad.
