Any suggestions of places to live withing 30 mins of Linthicum Heights?

My husband is being relocated for this job to Linthicum Heights Maryland. We need to move down there from NJ. Looking for a decent neighborhood with low crime rates, good schools, low taxes, near shopping areas.
