Where is the closest ,and nicest, area to commute to a job in Commerce, CA?

Possibly Moving to California for a Job in comerce city, where is the best place to live with a family of 2 elementary school kids- I don't want to drive more than 35 minutes but need a safe family oriented neighborhood with great school system
