Carmichael's Bookstore is another local bookstore. They have 2 locations: Highlands - 1295 Bardstown Rd 502.456.6950 and Crescent Hill - 2720 Frankfort Ave 502.896.6950

There are a ton of bookstores in Louisville, but a very cool little one is All Booked Up. It's at 1555 Bardstown Rd, and it's excellent. Very cool. Small, but eclectic.
