Houston’s Magnolia Park community is one of the city’s oldest offerings. Residents of this area have access to major roadways. You will find traveling through State Highway 90 and the 610 Loop is quite easy. Some of the popular streets in Magnolia Park include Canal Street and North Wayside Drive. You will find many residential offerings in this part of the neighborhood. Nearby communities are other attractions to this area. Its dated appearance does not compare with many of the other portions of Houston. Denver Harbor and the Port Houston area are other neighborhoods near Magnolia Park.
You will find some industry in this area, but not as many modern commercial offerings. One of the benefits to this neighborhood is its access to the ship channel, which is a great tourist attraction in Houston. Tours of the Port of Houston bring many residents to this area. University of Houston students who live here will find this an easy commute to campus. DeZavala Community Center is one of the staples utilized in Magnolia Park. This neighborhood is nestled into the eastern portion of Harris County. This happens to be one of the country’s largest counties in land mass.
