New York City makes it to the Apple app store

Sweet! I am always looking for the next great iPhone app! I'll try it out for a while and let you know how it goes.

I like this thing for its listing of events - pretty decent coverage on diverse stuff, ranging from Afro-Latin jazz concerts to skateboarding cups.

@Everyone all you iPhone users are you upgrading to the iPhone 4.. was looking at android phones the other day.. I may just get one but can't decide between a new phone or a Blackberry..decisions , decisions all this technology!

@uptowngirl: I am 100 percent getting the iPhone 4. I have a blackberry now, and it's so slow and cumbersome compared to that beauty. Everyone I know who has an iPhone swears by them and say they will never go back to any other kind of phone.

@JenMac @uptowngirl I may be on the fence about the iPad, but I NEED the iPhone 4. I need to video chat! Like, now!

I want to upgrade to the new iPhone...but I am wondering how much it will cost me to do so without the free upgrade option, which I am not due for until next February. When I got an iPhone I had to pay out of pocket for the thing and AT&T charged me $16 for some reason on top of that. And that, supposedly, was the free upgrade option. Oh, and they extended my contract two years. I keep meaning to look into whether I was completely ripped off, or if that really was the free upgrade option. Obviously I don't really want to know.

I got a google android because the iphone was too expensive - in the end, I'm glad I got the android. I do miss out on some apps (and I admit that's really annoying - the Google Market is much much less extensive) but I get email and, better yet, skype running natively on my phone

@ajadedidealist that skype function on a phone is way cool isn't it?i keep going to the phone stores to try and change my phone but cant seem to make up my mind.. I am a Nokia person and it's sad that the Finnish company after being a trendsetter for all these years seems to have totally lost the plot now..its symbian system seems way too slow and I cant get myself to like those HTC, Samsung etc phones.. btw I read somewhere that T-mobile may get the iPhone soon so Apple maybe thinking of breaking the AT&T exclusivity.. my friends who use an iPhone are constantly complaining about dropped calls and poor service..
