Minutes from downtown Saint Paul. School district 622 serves the northern side of Maplewood and South side Maplewood School district 623. This city boasts the home of 3M Corporation, St. John’s Hospital and Maplewood Mall.

Although the museum has been technically closed in 2002, the collection can still be seen at the Science Museum of Minnesota. If you cannot get enough of art, try the Earth Art Galleries at Afton, just a few minutes away from Maplewood. At Riverside Avenue is the Augsburg Ice Arena where you can watch ice skating shows.
