"Nice neighborhood with lots of shopping area's nearby"
The Meadow Park area it located right in the heart of the Mayo High School area. If you area planning on children, they will definitely be Mayo Spartans. The neighborhood is one the southern most residential area's within the "city life" in Rochester. The farther south you go from here you'll start to see highway beginning to leave the Rochester city limits. The homes in this area are at an average sale price in Rochester. Some perks around the area include a variety of restaurants nearby, the fairgrounds (which include the hockey area's), closely located Apache Mall and a few other stores such as Walmart, Kohls, Shopko, and Menards. It is also closely located to Broadway which can take you north to the Mayo Clinic area. It's location is a bit from Hwy 52 which will take you towards the NW area, but most of your shopping needs can be taken care of in this area. The neighborhood seems to be friendly and there is not as much traffic in the neighborhood area as I stated it is one of the last residential areas in the SE corner.
Pros
- Lots of Shopping
- Quiet are located near the High School
- Good dining options
Cons
- Far away from NW, NE if you plan on commuting to work, etc.
