"Million dollar mansions"
Memorial is one of the well established upscale neighborhoods in Houston, TX. Located in West Houston, you will find Memorial near Interstate 10, East of Hwy 6. The Sam Houston Tollroad runs through this area, which is conveniently located near Town & Country Mall as well as Memorial City Mall. Main roads found in this area are Wilcrest, Memorial, and Dairy Ashford. This is a more established area of West Houston, while the outskirts of Westchase are growing at a rapid pace. There are many vintage shops around this area, as well as some older residential subdivisions. Apartment homes are plentiful in this tree lined plush area. There is ample shopping, dining, and entertainment, and access to more variety is just a nearby freeway away.
Memorial is very close to the Energy Corridor, which is home to the majority of the Oil Companies in Houston and many jobs. Homes in this area can easily be priced over one million dollars. Newly created parks, hike and bike trails, and dog parks will consume your time if enjoy outdoor activities. There are a variety of chain restaurants and shopping centers to choose from in this area. If you are a golfer, you won’t want to miss a tee time at Memorial Park Golf Course.
