How walkable is the Midtown Terrace neighborhood in San Francisco?

Midtown Terrace in San Francisco is not that walkable. It has a walk score of 59, which is pretty lousy. The main problem is that although there are sidewalks, it is a little hilly and there is very little that is near enough to walk to. It definitely is not North Beach in that sense.
