Is Milan a good place for singles looking to mingle?

Well, let me put it this way: if Poughkeepsie, the biggest population center in the area, isn't much of a place to mingle (and it definitely pales in comparison to NYC), then there's no way Milan is. I don't say that to be disparaging to Milan, but there's a low population and there aren't too many places at all in town where singles can meet. I honestly would think the answer to this is a big no.
