What are the best tourist attractions in Minneapolis Metropolitan area

The outdoors is what Minnesota is all about. Our favorite thing to show our out of town visitors is the St. Croix River. Many of the MN State Parks along the river rent canoes. It's fun to stop off and explore one of the many islands and pretty little beaches along the river bank while enjoying the breathtaking scenery. It's a National Scenic Riverway.
