Yes, Monterey Heights in San Francisco is a good place to live for families with kids because it is a nice quiet area with lots of green spaces where kids can play. There are pretty good schools in the Monterey Heights area as well.

The main drawbacks to the neighborhood are the home prices and that it is fairly hilly making it harder for kids to play outside in spots.
