Living in the Morgan Park neighborhood of Chicago - whats it like?

Morgan Park is pretty quiet, and above average in terms of safety. I've been through the neighborhood a few times, and I've never felt uncomfortable, even late at night, but I also felt a little bored when I was there. If you're looking for excitement, look elsewhere, but if you want something safe and quiet, then Morgan Park isn't half bad.
