Is Morningside Heights in New York City a walkable neighborhood?

Yes. Most of Manhattan is designed to be walked. And, while you can have a car in this part of town pretty easily, it's a big pain trying to park and traffic is never great in Manhattan. You can walk the entirety of the neighborhood in about 30 minutes so getting around by foot is a breeze.
