"A small community far from the hustle and bustle of nearby Aurora"
Murphy Creek is one of the prettiest neighborhoods this side of I-25. Although it's address is Aurora, you don't feel like you're anywhere near Aurora when you're here. It is beautiful, well manicured, quiet, and peaceful. The homes are pretty and well taken care of, although a little close to each other. There is a golf course on the southern side of the neighborhood that has 18 holes and the neighborhood has it's own K-8 school. After that, kids go to Rangeview High School which is just west over the E-470 tollway.
The location of Murphy Creek is ideal for anyone who works at Denver International Airport or who flies frequently. There is no traffic in the development, although Gun Club Road does get backed up at peak times for those who wish to avoid paying the tollway fees.
While there isn't any shopping, businesses, or hospitals here, they are all just minutes away. Southlands mall to the east has great outdoor shopping and there are numerous restaurants here as well. This is one of Murphy Creek's best features, it's location. Most of the neighbors are friendly and I often get waved at while driving through.
There is no public transportation out here unless you count the busses for students. There is plenty of parking along the streets.
