Would you recommend the Near North Side neighborhood in Chicago for families with kids?

If the family has money, then yes, I think the Near North Side would be good for families with kids. It's a bit pricey, but there's a great 'big city' feel, and the neighborhood is safe. Schools are decent, and while I wouldn't say it's an area intended for families, if you can afford it I think it'd be worth it.
