City Jobless Rate Falls to 9.5%

I don't know if anyone has heard, but the city's jobless rate has fallen for the sixth-straight month to 9.5%.

There were jobs lost last month, but most of them were census workers.

The 9.5% rate now equals the country's unemployment rate. So NYC no longer has higher unemployment. That is a good sign. It means some improvement in NYC's economy.
