"Beautiful Desert Community"
I lived on this street for approximately 2 years, the neighborhood is newer, clean and well landscaped. There is a school very close by, and well as several parks and community pools. Apartments and condos in the area have many ammenities, pools, dog parks, and walking trails. The cost of rent and purchase is high in this area being that its on the outskirts of town. There are several state parks within a 10 mile radius, and Lake Pleasent is across the freeway about 8 miles west. Anthem (approximately 5 miles north) has a large upper scale outlet mall as well as restuarants and medical services. In the last year (2007), there has been additional building of retail facilities, such as a Kohls and Home Depot. The Ben Avary shooting range is about a mile away and is open till about 10pm, so the sound of firing is audible, though not bothersome. There has been a lot of road and other construction lately making traffic backed up at times, and weekend traffic means a lot of trucks hauling boats to and from the lake. There is no night life in this area other than one bar and grill which plays live music a fe nights a week. Overall a really nice community, though at a high cost as well.
