Are there many community events in Millerton?

I took a look at the Millerton community schedule, and to be completely honest, there's not a lot on it. In fact, some of the things I saw included defensive driving courses, which isn't the first thing that would come to mind when thinking about "community."

There are a couple nice events on there every now and then, but a typical month only seems to have about two or three items on it.
