Is Outer Richmond in San Francisco a safe neighborhood?

As I mentioned to someone else, Outer Richmond is just about as safe as it gets for San Francisco (except maybe Sea Cliff or St. Francis Wood--those hyper affluent areas). I don't think you get much crime here and what you do get is mostly of the stolen car radio variety not the "three dead from gang violence" variety. That said, always be on the look out. You are in SF mot Kansas.
