Is Pawling a good place to raise kids?

I would think it's a very good place to raise kids. It's a reasonably quiet, very safe, and peaceful town which is a little out of the way but it's not so terribly isolated. The schools here have a good reputation and you might even find a nice park or two to show them. Granted, you'll have to drive for a while to take them to the mall or to the movies, but if what you really want is a safe and clean environment, then Pawling will do very well in that regard.
