What are the schools like in Pilsen, Chicago?

Statistically most of the schools here fall well below average in their test scores. The only school in Pilsen that ranks on the higher end for test scores is Orozco Elementary of Fine Arts & Sciences.

Schools in Pilsen are a bit above average, although I wouldn't say the neighborhood is perfect for families. It's safe, but fairly young and loud. You might do better elsewhere, but the schools are solid and you shouldn't have any problems for you kids.
