Is 116th street safe for tourists?

Hi Guys! I've rented an apartment in this street for February. i'd to know if the place is enough safe to walk to 116th Subway station please?

absolutely. Projects r safe 2 no one will bother u if you mind your buissiness. Lots of deli's and a seven eleven.
