One of UMM's (United Muslim Masjid) two sites is on Point Breeze Avenue and open 7 days a week. The people are very friendly and openly welcome newcomers. There is another mosque on Point Breeze Avenue further down from UMM, which is called Muhammed Temple of Islam. I am not sure about their operations schedule.
