As a lifelong resident...there's no way I can get to 10 I'm afraid, but I can give you a couple.
1) Eating out. This is definitely the best thing to do in Red Oaks Mill and for a small area you've got a pretty decent selection of restaurants. There is a Chinese place, a Subway, a deli, three pizzerias, a bagel cafe, and even a Carvel for ice cream. It would take you a while to get bored with your choices, and I'm a frequent customer of several of them so what can I say, I like them. This should probably be items 1 through 6 on the list.
2) Visit the park(s). I've played some catch at Red Oaks Mill Park on Spackenkill Road a few times, and it's a nicely-sized park so you've got a little room to spread out. There are a few others nearby as well.
3) Check out the falls. Right off of Route 376 on Red Oaks Mill Road, there is a waterfall by the appropriately-named Inn at the Falls (it is NOT Wappingers Falls, for anyone wondering). After a big rainstorm it's quite a sight to behold and it does draw a crowd on the bridge.
4) Fishing. Right by this hotel and waterfall, it's not uncommon to see people in their rubber fishing outfits dropping a line in the Wappinger Creek. You need to have a license first, of course.
5) Check out the bars. There are three and though I've not been to all of them, I've never heard anything bad, so they're solid places to hang out it would seem.
