"The Proctor Terrace Neighborhood Is So Easy To Love!"
Driving through the Proctor Terrace area, you realize soon that you are in a special neighborhood. you'll see many people waling their dogs, gardening, riding bikes or chatting with a neighbor, many of whom have known each other for decades. There are wide, tree lined streets with a mix of mid-century homes, that in many cases have never changed owners and have always been loved.
I walk my daughter to Proctor Terrace Elementary, the same school I attended 40 years ago, which has hardly changed at all and is still one of the finest.
"Town & Country" is the neighborhood shopping area, with Pacific Market, Village Bakery, Sandy"s Pizza, Carmen's Burger Bar, a great Florist and a Dry Cleaner, all of which give you that friendly small town service. Equally close is Safeway, CVS, Montecito Health Club and the classic Flamingo Hotel, the perfect place for visiting friends and relatives that you'd like to be within walking distance, opposed to shouting distance.
I can't say enough about this neighborhood and I feel so proud and fortunate to live here!
