"A small community in eastern Colorado"
Ramah is a quiet little town with just 122 residents on the eastern plains of Colorado. Although there are no real amenities here, Simla is just 6 minutes away, and this is also the town where all the kids go to school (although Simla is small itself with only 619 residents). The average household income in Ramah is $58,530 which is higher than the state's average, but the home prices here are much lower than the state's average, so the cost of living in Ramah is very good. Construction is the main industry in Ramah, although there is a lot of farm land surrounding the area.
This community is predominantly white (86%) and conservative. When driving through town you can see older homes, some of which were built in the early 1900s. There are wide streets, no sidewalks, and large beautiful trees lining the way. This small town certainly has a laid back feeling of years gone by. The homes are all small and have a charm all their own. Outside of town there are larger, more modern homes with a much larger price tag.

"Ramah -- on the plains between Kansas and Colorado Springs"
Ramah is a very small agriculturally based community of a little more than 100 people in the central high plains of Colorado. Most people are farmers or in someway associated with farming or livestock. The average household income in the area is $29,000. There are ranch properties and single family homes that range from as low as $60,000 to $400,000 with many acres of arable land.
HW 24 out of the Springs is over an hour away and the Kansas border is about an hour east so Ramah really is in the middle of no-where. You are too far east to see the mountains of the Front Range, but there is rolling plains of farmland and creeks and country roads with wildlife and pretty sunrises and sunsets.
