Rhinbeck is one of my favorite towns in the Hudson Valley. The village is such a unique place where you can walk around enjoy a lot of interesting boutiques and have a delicious bite to eat. With its proximity to the Culinary institute of America some really talented chefs work in the Rhinebeck restaurants and offer a verity of creative dishes.
The Wilderstein Estate is a great mansion to visit if you are into history, art and culture. Additionally there are other mansions and parks in nearby Annandale-on-Hudson and Hyde Park such as the FDR home and presidential library, Vanderbilt and Mills mansions among others.
Rhinebeck is home to the Dutchess County Fair Ground that hosts the annual Dutchess County Fair. Other events that take place at the Fair ground are antique car shows, Hudson Valley wine and food festival, antique fair, art festival and more. Check out the fairgrounds calendar of events for more info.

The Omega Institute is another venue with great offerings for adults as well as children. It offers a variety of workshops, summer camps and more with focus on Yoga, Health and fitness. Check out their website at
