Is Rogers Park in Chicago a safe neighborhood?

Overall yes, Rogers Park is a fairly safe neighborhood. I've never felt terribly threatened, but it also isn't as safe as some of the best areas.

Certain parts of Rogers Park are very quiet and residential, but there are a few areas that I feel are a little unsafe. Overall, the area is pretty safe.
