San Rogue

No doubt that San Rogue is a shady area. Yes even Santa Barbara has it's shady areas. This neighborhood is victim to a lot of petty crimes like mugging and domesticated violence. It often makes the news just for that. Driving down the streets in San Rogue can be frustrating because of all the shoddy houses, messy yards and suspicious individuals that hang out on the street corners. The area just does not fit in with the rest of Santa Barbara. There are lot’s of cheap wino stores that stay open all hours of the night. Loud music is a common occurrence that goes on all hours of the night as well as random parties. Driving down one of the side streets at night and seeing a house lined up with cars is not an uncommon site. I have actually been to a party in this area. At best I can describe it as an interesting experience. This is not the type of area that you want to rear kids or buy your first house in.
