"Acres Green is a mature, affordable subdivision"
Acres Green is a small community or rather a subdivision that was created in the early 1970's. When first built the area was the southern edge of Denver's suburban sprawl, much has changed in 40 plus years. The neighborhoods and streets are well placed and most of the homes are two story with standard but not small front and back yards.
Homes are noticeably more affordable compared to the newer more grandiose neighboring Highlands Ranch to its west. In most cases homes in Acres Green are also more affordable than many neighborhoods in Littleton and Centennial just to the north. The location makes it an ideal commute to the Denver Tech Center or downtown. This mature neighborhood offers parks, good schools and affordability making a great community to check out if considering moving to the Denver area.

"A small, quiet neighborhood located in a busy area of town"
Acres Green is a small neighborhood located in a busy part of town. It is surrounded by streets with heavy traffic, although it is nice within the neighborhood. There are several parks in this area which lend to the serenity of the area even though it's surrounded by so much. The homes in this area tend to be considerably lower priced than many of the subdivisions near and around it. Median home prices are $200,000 which is several hundred thousand less than other homes in the area, especially those to the west and south.
While there isn't much shopping within the borders, other than a large furniture chain and a few smaller stores, there is a lot of shopping very nearby. Park Meadows Mall and the areas west and south of it have numerous stores, shops, restaurants, and bars with many types of cuisine and varying price points.
Acres Green is located just south of C-470 so there is a lot of traffic in the area but it is also a pretty straight shot up to the mountains for hiking or other outdoor activities. While there isn't a medical center within the borders there is a hospital only a few minutes away, just off of Lincoln Avenue and I-25.
The schools in this area are all above average and it is overwhelmingly a family oriented neighborhood.
