Bennettsville
"Quiet, Friendly Suburban Area"
Bennettsville is located in the northeastern corner of South Carolina. Bennettsville is about 10 miles below the North Carolina border. It is considered one of the most historical towns in the surrounding area.
With gas prices sky-rocketing, Bennettsville is the perfect get-away for the day. Start your day at the beautifully restored Bennettsville Visitors Center. There you can find information about Bennestville, including a walking tour brochure that takes you throughout the town.
You can step back in time at the Breeden Grocery or find that something special at the shops downtown. Or maybe check out the treasures in the plunder shops. After all that walking and shopping you’ll need a great lunch and Bennettsville has a restaurant to please any appetite. After lunch walk off your meal around the beautiful Lake Paul Wallace. There you can enjoy the beauty of the lake and maybe take a look at wildlife.
