"A terrific mix of housing, great schools, lots of shopping options. A great place to live!"
Camarillo has a lot to offer newcomers to our area. Located off of the 101 freeway you have easy access to Los Angeles and the Ventura coast heading north to Santa Barbara. The housing prices start in the high 100K range for a 1 bedroom condo and jump to several $Million for a custom estate. Agriculture is a big part of the economy here with a focus on citrus and strawberries. We have one of the best small airports in the region (Camarillo Airport) and there is the ever popular Camarillo Outlet stores and several beautiful golf courses. It's mostly a family oriented community so there is not a lot of nightlife except for a few well-frequented wine bars. The Old Town area is a slice of the past with a mix of new and old businesses and it is also the location for the historic St. Mary Magdalen Church that drivers can see from the 101 as they make their daily commutes. We have highly rated schools and there are plenty of parks for humans and dogs. Considered a very safe city, Camarillo is an all around great place to live!
