Situated in the northern part of the Orange County, Cypress is a small city with about 50 000 people. This suburban city has a very rich history that dates back to 1821. Cypress got its name from the Cypress Elementary School that was built in 1895.
Cypress is home to people from many ethnic groups like Asians, Whites, Pacific Islanders, African Americans, Native American and many more. Cypress is a great town with wonderful neighbors and good schools. Schools in this city are part of the Anaheim Union High School District and the Cypress Elementary School District.
Cypress is not only a great town to live in, but is also one that provides much entertainment for their residents as well. Their parks and recreation departments organizes many courses and activities to enrich and help their residents of all ages enjoy themselves. They also have many events such as holiday bazaars, concerts and summer camps. They have activities for children, teens, adults and even seniors.
The City of Cypress has just one goal – to maintain a safe and affluent community for their people to enjoy in every day. Cypress aims to give its residents a great town where they can live peacefully, work effectively and play happily and call their home with pride.
