"Mouth Breathing yokels"
Male englwood uniform- old cargo pants, ratty t-shirt, olive drab cap with oakley syle shades on top of hat, long hair. Women- fat and wearing track suit or pajamas or methed out, skinny, in jeans (muffin top present) with sparkles on shirt and running eyeliner from the night before. Do not live her if you like art, culture, restaurants, have manners or god forbid look different than above description.
Pros

Cons
- white trash
- nearly everything
- some areas look run down

"An older suburb of Denver"
Englewood is located southwest of Denver and is an older area. There are a variety of homes, apartments, and condos here for less money than you would pay in many other places of the Denver metro area. There are some neighborhoods in this city that are well maintained and look nice, but overall Englewood has an older, sometimes unkept feel to it. This isn't to say that many areas aren't nice, but overall I don't care for this part of town.
Having said that, there are good things about Englewood. There are numerous parks and playing fields here with many of them sporting large, beautiful shade trees. There is shopping in many strip malls and restaurants and fast food chains on many of the major roads here. Traffic can be a bear at peak times, but within the subdivisions it's fine.
There are also two really good hospitals located within city limits. Swedish Medical Center is a Level 1 trauma center and Craig Hospital specializes in rehabilitation of head and spinal cord injury patients.
