"Just Go To Franklin Square"
Many people go to Garden City South, because they can't afford Garden City the village, but still want the Garden City title. In Garden City South, you have Franklin Square 17 SD, and the same style homes, same everything, GCS is just north of Hempstead Turnpike, You pay at least $2,000 more in taxes just for that Garden City title, Rath Park section of FS is SO much more desirable.

"Glorified Franklin Square"
Great town but you're better of going across Hempstead Turnpike to Franklin Square. it Is the SAME thing instead of paying 8,000 in taxes for the same cape on the same size lot, you're paying 12,000 in taxes just to have the word Garden City in you're title. In Garden City South you have Franklin Square School District everything is F.s. Don't get me wrong this is very gorgeous part of long island it's just stupid to pay so much more in taxes when you could get the same thing across Hempstead turnpike. Garden City South is like the "dressed up" version of Franklin square
