"Jordan Homes & Real Estate"
Located in Scott County in the state of Minnesota is the city of Jordan. The city is accessible via three major routes: State Highways 21 and 282 and US Highway 169. The city has a lot to offer its citizens most especially on sports, thanks to Jordan’s healthy baseball tradition. The city is home to the Jordan Brewers which is an amateur baseball team who became champions in the years 1986, 1994, and 2004. The city is also home to the Robert Patterson Post #3 which won the league tournament seven straight times beginning in 2004 up to 2010.
Jordan also boasts of a great number of outdoor attractions starting with its city parks: Scotting Park, the Jordan Skateboard Park, Holzer Park, Timberline Park, Lagoon Park, Log Cabin, Lions Park, Pekarna Park, and Brentwoord Park. The city also has state parks and reserves such as the Minnesota Valley State Recreation Area, Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge, and the Metropolitan Regional Park System.
Other city attractions include the Sand Creek Waterfall, Mill Pond, the historic Jordan Brewery Ruins which is composed a limestone structures built in the year 1861 up to 1900 (part of the list of National Register of Historic Places), the ever popular Pekarna Meat Market which was built back in the 1800s, the Mini Met Baseball Park, Water Street, Crofut Winery, the Minnesota harvest Apple Orchard, and the Nicolin Mansion Bed and Breakfast.
Because of the unique location of Jordan city, the community enjoys that quaint country ambiance while situated minutes away from the Twin Cities metro area. The place is filled with wooded bluffs and rolling hills. Commute time to downtown Minneapolis and Bloomington is roughly between 20 to 30 minutes. Other attractions near Jordan are the Renaissance Festival, Mystic Lake Casino, and Valley fair which are all 15 minutes away from the city. Closer still are the Scott County Fair, a lot of recreational parks, and topnotch golf courses.
Jordan Public Schools are housed in a single campus. Jordan schools boast of old and modern facilities including ones that cater to handicapped students. There is the Jordan Elementary School, Jordan Middle School, and the Jordan High School as well as other affiliated school programs.
Exciting endeavors await you in Jordan and this includes hot air balloon ride at Balloon Ascensions ay E Sioux Vista Drive, a visit to the Lowertown Historic District, a trip with the kids to the Minnesota Children’s Museum in St. Paul, and hunting and fishing trips at Prior Lake.
If you want to taste the life in the country where the air is clean and the food is fresh coupled with the amenities of the city, Jordan is the best place for you.
