"Nice Neighborhood, Nice View"
I don’t know too much about Ladera Heights other than it is an affluent African American neighborhood east of Culver City. It is relatively untouched by the problems associated with the cities bordering it. There is an elevated section of Ladera Heights where lots of newer homes have been built large in variations on the Prairie and Ranch style reminiscent of the Brady Bunch. I understand also that Ladera Heights has great views of that stretch as far as the ocean.
There are also the oscillating heads of the oil rigs nearby. Which doesn’t seem to go with its reputation as an affluent neighborhood, but the actually rigs or in another neighborhood, I believe. Other than that, I really don’t know very much about this place.
